The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: A Brooke And Taylor Showdown!

 Comments

The Bold and The Beautiful recap for Friday, August 17 features the drama surrounding the upcoming Liam and Hope wedding.

Hope Comes Clean
Hope (Annika Noelle) tried to reassure Liam (Scott Clifton) that everything would be okay with inviting Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Taylor to the wedding. Hope said that Steffy was a part of the family, and the wedding needed to be drama free.

She felt that by inviting Steffy and Taylor, it would be the conduit to broker peace. All Liam could say was that he hoped she was right.

Steffy and Ridge Have a Father-Daughter Talk
Steffy and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) discussed Taylor coming to the wedding, which Ridge said he believes is a huge disaster waiting to happen.

Later, they talked about how unhappy Steffy is to watch Hope walk down the aisle with Liam. Steffy said that she felt defeated because the life she’d worked for was now gone. However, she acknowledged she made her own choices and was okay with the nuptials.

Taylor and Brook Face Off!
Taylor and Brooke faced off about the wedding with Taylor saying that Brooke encouraged her daughter to steal away a married man. She also brought up the fact that Hope was the product of Brooke’s affair with a married man and then reminded Brooke that she stole Ridge away from her, too.

Brooke wanted to start over, but Taylor wouldn’t hear of it. Brooke told Taylor that it was Hope who wanted Steffy at the wedding to make peace, but Brooke warned Taylor to stay away.

According to Brooke, why would Steffy want to watch Liam and Hope exchange wedding vows? And according to Taylor, why would the wedding take place in the first place?
