The Bold and the Beautiful recap (BB) for Tuesday, May 22 features Steffy taking drastic measures to gain Liam’s attention. She had one last trick up her sleeve and this one may just work!
Ridge Blew His Top
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) stirred things up at his house when he said a few too many harsh words to Hope (Annika Noelle).
Not only did he say he believes his own daughter but also reminded his stepdaughter she was nothing more than second best. The only reason she’s even getting married is because Liam (Scott Clifton) believes lies.
Brooke Stood Her Ground
Poor Hope spent the final moments of her dress fitting with tears in her eyes as her stepfather berated her. Thankfully, her mom was right there to put a stop to it. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) understood her husband’s anger but she refused to excuse his actions.
She put her foot down once and for all. Either Ridge back off or face trouble in their own marriage.
Wyatt Chose Himself
Over at Spencer Publications, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Katie (Heather Tom) debated what’s really best for his brother. Spilling all means clearing both their consciences but keeping quiet means protecting Liam and Hope’s future. It also protects Wyatt’s best interests.

Wyatt has lived in Liam’s shadow for way too long. It’s time he finally comes into his own and take the place of Bill’s right-hand-man. He has a bright career ahead of him if he can maintain his status.
Steffy Floored Liam
Meanwhile, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) planned on getting Liam back on her own. The pair met at the doctor’s office for another ultrasound.
While seeing Steffy so soon after watching Bill gloat wasn’t easy (and he even slung some mud Steffy’s way), he eventually calmed down and started enjoying the visit – especially when the ultrasound began.
Steffy and Liam got another look at their little one and it spurred a conversation about her name. In fact, Steffy even has one all picked out and presented it to Liam. She wants to name the baby Kelly after Liam’s own mother.
It was a moving moment that caused Liam’s anger to subside. Steffy didn’t just pull the name out of a hat, she put a lot of thought into the name’s meaning and chose to honor Liam’s history.
