The Bold and the Beautiful recap (BB) for Monday, May 28 reveals a day when Hope and Liam got a reality check they’ll never forget.
A Waiting Game
Poor Hope (Annika Noelle) was kept in the dark while Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Liam (Scott Clifton) had it out upstairs. The wedding guests rallied around the bride-to-be assuring her there’s no way a guy like Liam would leave her at the altar. He loves her and nothing anyone can say will change the way he feels.
Unfortunately, no one knew they were giving Hope a false sense of security.
The Whole Story
Upstairs, Wyatt faced Liam’s wrath as they played out all the events of the last few weeks. From the scandalous hallway embrace to Bill (Don Diamont) buying Wyatt’s silence, the younger brother put all his cards on the table.
Hope Heard It All
While the fireworks were bad, the worst part came when Liam had to spill it all to Hope. There was no way to sugar coat how much the new information changes things. Liam chose to marry Hope based on Steffy and Bill’s ongoing affair.

Sweet Hope got a shocking dose of reality when she realized she truly was second best. Liam was only in a tux because Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) failed him but now that her name is cleared it could mean he’ll ditch their wedding and run home to his pregnant ex-wife.
A Shocker For Steffy
Of course, there was one person happy to hear the wedding was stalled. Steffy got a renewed sense of hope about her future when Ridge called to tell her all about the wedding drama. If Liam doesn’t say his vows it means his heart is still up for grabs.
