The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, December 24 focused on good tidings, slick players, and holiday drama.
The Name Game
It’s bombshells all around when Liam, Hope, and Maya meet up. The Spencers learn of Rick and Maya’s (Karla Mosley) divorce and pledge their support to the family. They just want everyone happy, no matter what that looks like.
While she was there, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) sat Maya down to ask a surprising question.
They want to name their daughter Elizabeth too and want her and Rick’s blessing. Her daughter will be Lizzy Forrester and theirs honored as Beth Spencer.
Maya was taken aback but just for a moment. She was more than happy to spread the joy and even thinks this will bring the cousins even closer together.
Taylor (Hunter Tylo) should stay wary of her new beau. Not only is he getting too close too fast, but he’s clearly only after her money. Dr. Buckingham (Wayne Brady) doesn’t have very many pennies to his name. In fact, he couldn’t even afford his half of lunch.
Money wasn’t his only issue. It seemed there was a face in the crowd that caused him to panic. He had to slink out of the cafe and away from danger without getting caught. Is this someone who knows more of his secrets?

Thankfully, Taylor wasn’t there to see that embarrassing moment. She was be over at Steffy’s playing with Kelly and gushing about her friend.
Well, she won’t feel lucky long. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) broke the bad news of Hope’s Christmas demands and broke her heart. However, Steffy’s came to a rather shocking decision.
If Taylor can’t go then she and Kelly won’t go either. Of course, Taylor wasn’t having any of that. She opted out on her own.
The holiday drama got to both Steffy and Liam. They both looked out their respective windows with tears in their eyes, thinking about what could have been this Christmas.
