The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, August 29 features both Liam and Bill focused on fatherhood while Katie seeks legal aid and Hope gets great news!
Happy Family
Hope’s OB-GYN, Dr. Phillips (Robin Givens), recognized Liam (Scott Clifton) as Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby daddy and is curious as to why he’s there with a pregnant Hope (Annika Noelle).
During Hope’s exam, Dr. Phillips assured the expectant parents that their baby is fine as Hope fawns over an ultrasound pic.
Bill’s Demands
Bill (Don Diamont) reminded Katie (Heather Tom) that he was Will’s primary caregiver (Finnegan George) during her bout with postpartum depression and alcoholism battle, and he’ll use that in court if he has to.
Later, Justin (Aaron D. Spears) tried to point out to Bill that his situation with Will isn’t that bad.
Bill said he wants to avoid having Will show up in his office years from now saying he wasn’t there for him. Justin half-joked that Bill should just buy Will a house like he did Liam. Bill joked in return it wasn’t just a house but a beach house!
Carter’s Law
Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) enlisted Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) aid in Katie’s legal battle for Will.
Carter met with Katie and she showed him a list of days that Bill was scheduled to be with Will but he canceled. Thorne said the gardener has a better relationship with Will than his own father does. Katie then noted there are some good points about Bill.
She admitted she’s not blameless and that Bill will challenge her if she sues for full custody. Thorne urged her to go ahead with it, pointing out that Will acted frightened when his father came by the house. Thorne assured Katie he’d be there for her through all of this.
Counter Suit
While Katie explores her options, Bill asked Justin what his legal background is in custody law and then said he has judges in his back pocket.
Bill also lamented that his own dad wasn’t a presence in his life and ordered Justin to make Katie an offer she can’t refuse.
