The Bold and the Beautiful has never lacked for bad boys. One of the show’s most legendary was Deacon Sharp, played by Sean Kanan. He made quite an impact on the Forresters and still has ties to the show.
The Bold and the Beautiful Polling
Should Deacon come back to BB? Soap Hub posed this question to fans. Read on for the results!
Whatcha Gonna Do?
The majority of you, over 51%, feel that Deacon should return to the story canvas on BB. First, he should be there to protect Hope (Annika Noelle), his daughter, from Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), who, shall we say, is a tad obsessed with her. Second, he needs to meet his granddaughter Beth!
And, third, he has a score to settle with Quinn (Rena Sofer)! Deacon’s a powerful, charismatic force to be reckoned with and his presence always ups the storyline stakes. It’s time Deacon trade in his prison orange jumpsuit for some designer duds and return home.
Hold Parole
The rest of The Bold and the Beautiful fans polled, less than half, under 49%, say it’s not quite yet time for Deacon to come back. Perhaps the stage needs to be set for his return more properly. Deacon’s return should be timed, after all, for when it will have the most dramatic impact.
He could show up to object at Thomas and Hope’s wedding or thwart some evil scheme to harm his daughter or granddaughter. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Deacon have always had great chemistry. She could certainly benefit from his return, too!
Meanwhile
While waiting for Deacon to come home, viewers looking to get their Kanan fix will want to check out the actor’s new web series, Studio City, in which he plays a soap opera star, Sam Stevens, who’s examining his life.
The star-studded Studio City cast includes familiar BB faces Sarah Brown (ex-Agnes; ex-Carly, General Hospital), Tristan Rogers (ex-Hunter; Scorpio, GH; ex-Colin, The Young and the Restless), Patrika Darbo (ex-Shirley; Nancy, Days of our Lives, Last Blast Reunion), and Scott Turner Schofield (ex-Nick). The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
