In April, Soap Hub reported that The Bold and the Beautiful star Henry Joseph Samiri had injured his arm and would be in cast for some time. Now, we can report an important update related to the young actor’s injury.
Henry Joseph Samiri: He Shoots, He Scores
“Got my cast off, and I feel great!!” Samiri posted on the actor’s Instagram account. He added the hashtags #fracture #strength #better #healed #readytoplay #neverbetter #happy as Samiri let a video show just how much better he’s feeling by posting footage of him playing basketball.
Soap Hub reported Samiri’s injury last month. Samiri’s followers on social media were thrilled to hear the young man’s good news. “Yay! That is fantabulous news, and I am very happy for you, Henry!” posted @lunablossom614I. “[We] need to see more of you on @boldandbeautifulcbs! ❤️.” Another follower, @kristina.smallwood81, wrote, “That’s so awesome!! Congratulations, @henrysamiri So very happy to hear you’re all healed now. ❤️💙👏💪😃🤗🥰.”
“He was in quite a lot of pain, but luckily, it’s just a Radius Buckle Fracture,” Tammy Samiri, Henry’s mom, told Soap Hub last month, “so he is only in a cast for three weeks! He will need to take it easy for a few weeks after that but then will be back and healed and ready to resume his adventurous lifestyle.
“He was very brave, and I’m very proud of him that even through this, he can’t wait to get back to improving his backflips so he can land them on the ground [which is] his goal by end of summer,” Tammy added.
The young actor’s accident came around the time of some very good news. He’s been nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series. The awards were set to be handed out on Friday, June 16, in a live two-hour ceremony on CBS. However, the show is postponed because of the Writers Guild of America strike.
