Quinn Fuller Forrester embarked on a creative professional career when she became a jewelry designer. Rena Sofer, who plays The Bold and the Beautiful character, champions artists in real life, too, especially now that they – along with so many others – have been affected by the coronavirus.
Rena Sofer Explains Entertainers’ Plights
“Please please please!!!” Sofer posted on Instagram along with a petition that is asking folks to support those in the arts who are facing challenging times due to economic shut downs. You can check out her full Instagram post below.
“All the people involved in entertaining you and bringing you joy are suffering,” she says. “This won’t end until we can beat #covid19 so please!!! WEAR A MASK AND STAY SOCIALLY DISTANT!!!! Thank you!!! And if you can there are a myriad of funds available to donate to to help these people out. Please keep in mind many performers especially those in @sagaftra only get insurance if they make a minimum amount of money. So many people will or have lost their insurance. Again. Thank you!!!”
Sofer first came to the attention of soap fans as Rocky on Loving. She later joined the cast of General Hospital as Lois Cerullo Quartermaine, winning the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1995. After exiting Port Charles, Sofer worked steadily in primetime, appearing as a series regular on such series as Melrose Place, Oh Grow Up, Ed, The Chronicle, Just Shoot Me!, Coupling, Blind Justice, 24, Heroes, Dirty Sexy Money, and NCIS.
In 2013, she joined the cast of BB as Quinn, Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) mother. Quinn sparred with Bill (Don Diamont) and fell for Eric Forrester (John McCook), eventually become his wife. Quinn has gone up against Eric’s ex-wife, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), and one of his other exes, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) when it became clear that both were a threat to her marriage. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings below.
