Don Diamont and wife Cindy Ambuehl traveled over the weekend to see son, Luca Diamont, a quarterback for Duke University, make his debut in his first away game at a famous university. The Bold and the Beautiful star beams when talking about his accomplished son.
Don Diamont: Proud Dad
“Overwhelming pride and joy for @cindyambuehl and me to see @lucadiamont suited up for the first away game of his college career, and at the bastion of college football no less. Notre Dame!” Diamont posted on Instagram. “We love you Blue Devil Luca!😀💙💙💙‼️‼️”
As you can see in the photos in the post below, there was limited attendance at the game so that social-distancing could be practiced.
“Proud parents beautiful good game!” posted @batalona5. “Even if they did not win will be keeping an eye on them. Duke as a fan of Bill On bold and the beautiful🤙🏽”
Last year, Diamont released his memoir My Seven Sons and How We Raised Each Other: (They Only Drive Me Crazy 30% of the Time). The autobiography details the actor’s career, his marriage to Ambuehl (who played Kim on BB in 1996), and his seven sons.
Diamont shared stories of his daytime beginnings (he started off at as Carlo on Days of our Lives in 1984). After DAYS ended, The Young and the Restless cast him as Brad Carlton, a role Diamont played until 2009. Brad met an icy and tragic end, but BB cast him in the hot new role of Bill Spencer, Jr. and the rest is history!
Alas, Notre Dame emerged the victor in the game that had a final score of 27-13, but as you can see in the photos below, Diamont is beaming with pride over Luca’s accomplishments. Duke’s next game is set for Saturday, September 19. The Blue Devils will take on the Boston College Eagles. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
