The Bold and the Beautiful C&G News

Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of our Lives fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of July 20, 2020

Tanner Novlan makes his debut as Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan on Thursday, July 23. The actor, a new love interest for Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s Steffy, is perhaps most recognizable for his stint as a bad actor in several Liberty Mutual commercials. Finn (also the nickname of a doctor on General Hospital) treats Steffy after she’s injured in a motorcycle accident.

Monica Ruiz is back as Dr. Penny Escobar, Sally’s partner in crime. She airs on Tuesday, July 21 and Wednesday, July 22, as Penny and Sally (Courtney Hope) haul an unconscious Flo (Katrina Bowden) to Sally’s apartment. Might this backfire for both of them? Wyatt will definitely want to know where Flo is.

Lawrence Saint-Victor returns as Carter Walton on Monday, July 20. He’ll share scenes with Heather Tom’s Katie and Kiara Barnes’ Zoe. Carter is essentially used as a sounding board to get fans caught up on story so the soap can jump right in on Tuesday. Maybe Carter will even get his own story one of these days. Zoe’s done with Thomas now, so you never know… All we know is we’re glad to have BB back this week.

Please note that air dates may be subject to change. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
