The Bold and the Beautiful C&G News

Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of our Lives fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of December 28, 2020
Da’Vonne Rogers is finally in the house — the house of fashion, that is. Two months after learning the former Big Brother and Big Brother: All Stars contestant would be making another guest spot on the soap comes word of her airdate. Look for Rogers to appear on Monday, December 28.

Although no character name or description has been announced, word is Rogers will be playing a businesswoman. She’ll share scenes with Thorsten Kaye’s Ridge in his office at Forrester Creations and may cross paths with Diamond White’s Paris as well.

This marks the second time Rogers, who is actually an acting coach in real-life, will turn up on The Bold and the Beautiful. Back in 2016, she made a cameo playing a florist.

The Bold and the Beautiful History

BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

It is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
