Detective Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) continued to press Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) for details about his terrifying tumble.
Despite remembering that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was the one who shoved him over the cliffside Thomas covered and said that he had accidentally fallen during his talk with Hope (Annika Noelle) and that no one else was present.
The Apology Train
After the cop took his leave, Thomas began to make his apologies to everyone in the room for his transgressions. He asked to speak to Hope alone but Liam (Scott Clifton) made it clear that it wasn’t going to happen.
Thomas made a personal apology to Hope for keeping her away from her daughter but he maintained he did it to give Douglas a mother. And he mentioned that his covering for Brooke was his way of showing true contrition.

The Riot Act
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was looking for someone to blame for all his family’s problems and since he was never going to cast aspersions against his — clearly — guilty offspring he decided to take all his hostility out on Flo (Katrina Bowden).
He paid a visit to her at the county jail and brought along a photo taken of her surrounded by her newfound family — all the better to taunt her with. He also got in a few digs about how her beauty will fade while she waits out her long sentence.
However, Flo wondered just what will happen to Thomas seeing as how she believes with utmost certainty that he killed Emma Barber!
