So, Thomas was definitely taken by surprise when Hope calls to inform him that Justin is in the process of drawing up annulment papers. Hope tells him, in no uncertain terms, that their marriage is over and she wants NOTHING more to do with him.

Thomas manipulated his son’s nanny into bringing her charge to his new address and then talked her into leaving the two of them alone. When it was just father and son, Thomas blew up at Douglas and at one point the little boy feared that his dad would strike him.
Thomas had a momentary breakthrough when Douglas told him that he is not himself and that he needed to go back to being his “old daddy.”

But, when Douglas revealed that Hope was at Steffy’s house, Thomas took off, desperate to tell his side of the story. A frightened Hope demanded that Thomas leave her alone and when he blocked her path to the door Hope escaped to the porch outside. Thomas followed, grabbed her by the shoulders and refused to let her go until she listened to him.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrived at the scene and rushed to protect her daughter. In the struggle to get Hope free from the madman’s grip, Brooke forcefully shoved Thomas away and he tumbled over the side of the cliff. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
