The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Tuesday, January 8 promise a day of grief and mourning… plus a shocking windfall.
Leaning On Brooke
The tragic loss of baby Beth hits everyone hard, especially her parents and grandmother.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) steps up for the grieving couple and does everything she can to soothe their shattered souls. Sadly, it’s going to take a village to help them through this.
While Bill (Don Diamont) offers his son support, Brooke takes the lead with her daughter.
She even gives her husband loving advice on how to deal with the grieving mother. Hope and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) haven’t had an easy relationship but she needs all the love she can get right now.
Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) have a long road of recovery ahead. It’ll take everyone rallying around them to even make it through the coming days. It’s all too much, and they don’t know how to live with the loss.

Reese Twists Fate
Meanwhile, Dr. Buckingham (Wayne Brady) has his hands full with his pesky bookie. The goon becomes increasingly volatile with his threats, and it’s scaring Reese. He doesn’t only fear for his life, but his daughter’s life, too.
Of course, Reese hit some secret paydirt. His island adventure was terrifying but boy, has it paid off.
He now has a way to take care of his debt, keep his own child safe, and make sure the details of this mess never see the light of day.
Every step Reese takes leaves a path of destruction in his wake. It’s a rough road but it’s a sink-or-swim situation and he’s choosing to save himself at any cost — with Hope and Liam maybe paying the steepest price.
