The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers preview for September 14-18, 2020, reveal a possible new beginning for Steffy that doesn’t involve Liam.

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has had quite a time since the day Liam (Scott Wilson) told her that he kissed Sally (Courtney Hope) when they were trapped under “Sky” and without thinking went off and sought comfort from his father — in bed.
Steffy found herself pregnant but had a paternity test done to ensure Liam was the father. Sadly, he found the test and deduced she’d betrayed him. When he learned it was with Bill, he left — just in time for Hope (Annika Noelle) to return.
Steffy went through her pregnancy alone, but Liam was finally there for the birth and the pair was about to reunite and be a family until Hope announced that now she was pregnant with Liam’s child.

Flashforward and Steffy wanted to adopt a little girl so Kelly would have a sister and Taylor (Hunter Tylo) presented her with one. Too bad it was the baby Hope believed was dead and Steffy eventually had to give her up as Liam returned to Hope once again.
This summer, she needed to get away from it all and took a fateful ride on her motorcycle that nearly became fatal when Bill (Don Diamont) crashed into her. Steffy ended up with a back injury, some strong pain pills, and a very handsome doctor.
That handsome doctor no longer wants to prescribe Steffy pills but it looks like he sure is ready to prescribe her something else. Still, an addiction is an addiction, so will Steffy destroy her new romance to get a hold of more drugs?
