Bill’s (Don Diamont) living life on the down-low and coming close to an affair with the much younger Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). And, it’s not much of a secret. In fact, Taylor (Hunter Tylo) is so worried about her daughter she spills all the details to Katie (Heather Tom).
Katie’s Heart Gives Out
What no one expects is Katie’s reaction. She gets so upset her heart literally gives out. Poor Katie suffers a heart attack as she completely falls apart. It’s a race to get her to the hospital and save her before it’s too late. The doctors will reach her in time but the damage is extensive and things don’t look good.

Brooke Ready To Rumble
Seeing all the pain the scandal is causing, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) goes on the warpath. She tracks down Taylor and Ridge (then-Ronn Moss) and begs them to put Steffy in her place. Don’t they see the destruction their daughter is causing? She’s ruining lives and it must stop!
Katie Fights Back
As if that’s not enough drama, Katie decides to take matters into her own hands. She may be down but she’s not going to let her heart problems stop her from saving her marriage. She pulls herself out of bed, sneaks away from the ICU, and hunts down Steffy. There is no way she’s going to let that girl steal her man and ruin her marriage!
