Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is the talk of the town when she and Ridge (then-Ronn Moss) announce their engagement. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will go nuclear and Ash’s ex, Rick (then-Kyle Lowder) won’t be too pleased either.
Flirting With The Ex
In fact, Rick thinks he still has a shot with Ashley. So much so, he’ll try to flirt his way back into her bed. Stop right there, mister. Ashley’s very much in love with her fiancé and won’t let any man get in their way. Rick is cute but Ridge is a handsome man who can give her the world.

Warning Shots
What about another woman, though? Spoilers show Rick warns Ash to watch out for his mother. She has a way of getting under Ridge’s skin and they all know she’s never gotten over losing him. Of course, Ash is confident in her lover and is sure Ridge has every intention of staying true to her.
Rick is right, though. Brooke will be so upset she’ll turn to Nick (Jack Wagner) for comfort. However, she’s barking up the wrong tree. He’s married to Taylor (Hunter Tylo) now and tells Brooke it’s time to move on with her life as everyone else has. If the dressmaker can get over her then she needs to do the same and find herself a new man.
Brooke Goes After Ashley
Does Brooke listen? Nope. Brooke makes a beeline for Ashley and gets right in her face. She is Ridge’s soulmate and everyone knows it. Ash may be the flavor of the month right now, but Brooke warns the affair won’t last too much longer. She’ll win back her man and keep him once and for all.
