The Forresters and Logans celebrate a welcome return while the Spencers mourn a deep loss. The good news is, Thomas (now played by Matthew Atkinson) and Douglas are home for good. The bad news is, Caroline did not come with them.
Goodbye, Caroline!
It seems Caroline will never be seen or heard from again. Thomas has the heartbreaking task of telling the families of her untimely (off-screen) demise.
It’s a horrifying situation made worse by every circumstance that led to the moment she took her last breath.
The news rocks everyone to their core and the LA crowd will come together to support Douglas and Thomas and share in his heartbreak. He thought he had it all only to have his entire life turned upside down.

Crushing Guilt!
Bill (Don Diamont) falls apart under the guilt of his scheme that led to Caroline moving away. He has played with many lives before but his puppet master antics never led down this dark of a road.
Sadly, this is something he’ll have to live with for the rest of his life. And, he deserves to. Bill may claim to be a changed man but hopefully, this will put things into perspective. If there’s any reason to keep his family close and do right by them, it’s this.
