Jacob Young’s podcast on mental well-being continues this week with a very special guest — singer Mary Wilson of The Supremes. The former star of The Bold and the Beautiful previewed the upcoming interview with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend in a social media post.

“Look who’s on my next episode!” Young shared on Instagram. “Here’s a sneak peek of what’s happening next Wednesday. I have to say that this was a supreme conversation! So lovely to have the gorgeous Mary Wilson of The Supremes on Real Conversations with Jacob Young, a mental health podcast, sponsored by Boys Town.
“To check out our entire conversation be sure to subscribe by hitting the link in my bio, and please be sure to follow: @mwilsonsupreme @real_conversations_with_jacob @boystown an @empirepodnet podcast.”
Watch for Young to ask Wilson about growing up in Detroit and how she began singing at such an early age. Wilson shares that there were four singers, still in grade school, that hadn’t become the Supremes yet. Wilson playfully chastises Young for not having read her autobiography, but said she would send him one!
Wilson’s two memoirs are titled: Dreamgirl: My Life As a Supreme and Supreme Faith: Someday We’ll Be Together.
Don’t miss the next episode of Real Conversations with Jacob Young to learn more about what Wilson has to say.
Prior to Young taking on the role of Rick, the character was played by Steven Hartman. That’s when Rick was revealed to be the person who shot Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) new husband Grant Chambers (Charles Grant). Apparently, Rick had had a break from reality after watching too many video games, which led to him pumping lead into his stepfather. Young also played Lucky on General Hospital and JR on All My Children.
Currently, Rick is overseas working at Forrester International and he is split from Maya (Karla Mosley). The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
