The Bold and the Beautiful star Don Diamont has been on three different soaps, so his characters have been in all kinds of jeopardy. Now, unfortunately, the actor is facing a real-life drama that’s quite serious!
Don Diamont Granted Temporary Restraining Order
TMZ is reporting that Diamont, who plays BB’s Bill, has been granted a temporary restraining order in L.A. Super Court. The trouble began when a man showed up on his front steps earlier this month. In documents, Diamont says that Quincy Adams, 37, has been harassing him and his family since January 2021.
Diamont alleges that Adams has gone on YouTube to make preposterous accusations that the actor is behind COVID, 9/11, and the Iraq War. He’s also claimed that Diamont was a Satanist and that the two men were bound together prior to either of them being born.
Reportedly, Adams reached out to Diamont’s family members. In early June, Diamont says that his wife, Cindy, called him to say that Adams was at their front gate. The actor raced home and by the time he got there, the police were on the scene, handling the situation.
Diamont first burst onto the soap scene as Carlos on Days of our Lives in 1984 and was involved in a love triangle with fan-favorite couple Neil (Joe Gallison) and Liz (Gloria Loring). The young man faced an untimely death, but Diamont wasn’t gone from soaps for long. He quickly landed on The Young and the Restless as gardener-turned-Jabot-executive Brad Carlton.
One of Diamont’s most popular storylines as Brad was when the character was kidnapped by his deranged ex-wife Lisa Mansfield (Lynne Harbaugh), prompting his wife Traci (Beth Maitland) to get a divorce. Brad was finally rescued, but Lisa escaped.
After years of doing boardroom battles with Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) and romancing many of Genoa City’s leading ladies including Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Cassandra (Nina Arvesen), Lauren (Tracey Bregman), and Sharon (Sharon Case), Brad met an icy end trying to save Noah from drowning in a freezing lake.
Again, Diamont wasn’t off the market for long. BB quickly scooped him up to play “Dollar” Bill Spencer on BB. He’s played the part of the media mogul since 2009. Currently, Bill’s facing a legal jam in light of his covering son Liam’s (Scott Clifton) role in Vinny’s (Joe LoCicero) death. Stay tuned.
