Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.

General Hospital

All My Children alum Cameron Mathison, who played Ryan Lavery from 1998 to 2011, will be joining General Hospital in a new mystery role. The gig is set to begin once he wraps his run as co-host on Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family, slated to end in August. There are no details regarding whom he’ll be playing.

Sydney Walsh is portraying Maggie, Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) cellmate at Pentonville. Walsh played Judge Delores Anderson on The Young and the Restless in 2010.

The Young and the Restless

Over at The Young and the Restless, Reylynn Caster premieres as Faith Newman, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) daughter, on Monday, April 12. The daytime newbie’s credits include the series Me, Myself & I, Netflix’s The Big Show Show, and American Housewife. She replaces Alyvia Alyn Lind, who exited the soap last week to appear in the USA Network/Syfy series Chucky.

Also, Lauralee Bell is set to pop in for another appearance as Christine Blair Williams.

Days of our Lives

Patrika Darbo (ex-Nancy, Days of our Lives) will be playing Sally’s (Courtney Hope) grandmother, Shirley Spectra; the role she originated on The Bold and the Beautiful. There’s no word as to whether or not she’ll be making future appearances on the soap.

The Bold and the Beautiful

On the BB casting front, Joe LoCicero has completed his stint as Vinny Walker, Thomas’ (Matthew Atkinson) longtime pal. LoCicero had played Vinnie since June 2019.

Dick Christie returns as head of Forrester Creations’ security, Charlie Webber, on Thursday, April 15, while Dan Martin is back as Deputy Chief Bradley Baker on Wednesday, April 14 to investigate Vinny’s demise.
