Jacqueline MacInnes Wood continues to imbue her character, Steffy Forrester Finnegan on The Bold and the Beautiful with strength. Steffy is fiercely loyal to her family, which includes her father Ridge who is having marital woes. For her performance as a daughter determined to look out for her father’s interests, Soap Hub bestows Performer of the Week Honors for B&B on Wood.

Steffy showed up at Ridge and Brooke’s house ostensibly to see if her dad was still coming to dinner at her home. She picked up on the fact that there’s tension between Ridge and Brooke but they weren’t about to open up to Taylor Hayes’s (Krista Allen) daughter as she’s not a fan at all of “Bridge.”
The more Ridge and Brooke downplayed any problems, the more Steffy grew inquisitive. When Ridge asked Steffy why she even dropped by, she reminded him it was to see if he was still coming to dinner. Sensing that Ridge was apprehensive, Steffy begrudgingly — practically — mumbled an insincere invitation to Brooke. “I mean,” Steffy said, “if she’d like to join, she can…but it’s just going to be our family.”

Before leaving, Steffy carefully observed an uneasy Brooke. Her look to her stepmother read “I know something’s wrong – even though you won’t confirm that something is amiss!” Soaps specialize in closeups on performers and characters constantly trying to figure out what’s truly going on around them. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, as Steffy, delivers on both of these daytime staples while also adding a touch of humor. Steffy’s intelligent and intuitive.
Once Steffy had her father alone with her back at her home, she observed that Ridge seemed uneasy. He shut down her inquisitiveness, but that’s only resulted in Steffy remaining more suspicious. Steffy knows her dad – and knows when to pull back but she’s not giving up that something’s seriously wrong with her dad’s marriage. Sure, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) has the scoop on Brooke kissing “Santa,” however, thanks to Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s ability to deliver Steffy’s determination, we think that she’s the one about whom Brooke needs to worry!
