The Bold and the Beautiful is no stranger to resurrecting characters believed dead or inviting actors to play dual roles. So, it’s entirely possible that the show might do so again as one of its most popular leading ladies would end up in the midst of a must-see story if B&B goes down one or both of those paths.
The Bold and the Beautiful Remembering Phoebe
Veteran fans of B&B recall that Thomas Forrester and Steffy Forrester have a sister, Phoebe Forrester, who was Steffy’s twin. Mackenzie Mauzy played the part of Phoebe from 2006 to 2008. Sadly, the character was killed off when Phoebe and Rick Forrester were in a car accident.
Re-enter Prince Omar
But what if Phoebe hadn’t died and, instead, Prince Omar (Kabir Bedi) whisked her away to Morocco the way he once did with Taylor Hayes when folks thought she had gone to that great soap in the sky. Just as Taylor escaped and made her way back to Los Angeles, perhaps Phoebe could too and let her loved ones know that she’s among the land of the living! How would B&B fans feel if the show executed this improbable scenario?
The Bold and the Beautiful Farewell to Phoebe
The majority of you, nearly 74%, say that Phoebe should not be brought back. We watched her die and dead is dead, you feel. The Bold and the Beautiful is set in the world of reality. Granted both Taylor and Macy (Bobbie Eakes) have done the Lazarus bit. However, you don’t want to see it take place in this instance.
Some of you, nearly 13%, say that you’d love to see Phoebe return and B&B should find out Mauzy’s availability as she’s the one you want back playing the part. Think of the flashbacks that could be used. Tying in with current story, Phoebe’s miraculous return couldn’t help but push her parents — Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Krista Allen) — together.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood – Dual Role
About 8% of you would like to see Phoebe back but you’d like to see Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) take on the part. That way, the two sisters could swap places if the story calls for it. It’d be quite the acting challenge for Wood to play Phoebe and execute the differences between the two women. (B&B hasn’t done many dual role storylines but the late Anthony Addabbo played twin brothers Jonny and Rush from 1997-98.)
The rest of you, under 5%, are open to the idea of Phoebe coming back but you feel that now is not the time. B&B’s storyline plate is fairly full right now. If done, Phoebe’s return should happen when it can be given the airtime the story would deserve.
