The Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: Monday, October 17
Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) mourns the apparent end of her marriage to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye); she very nearly falls off the wagon, but Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) prevents her from sipping the vodka she’s poured..
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) confides in Katie Logan (Heather Tom) his single status — Quinn Fuller (Rena Soffer) has abandoned him without explanation. Katie takes the opportunity to sing Carter’s praises and winds up pulling him into a passionate clinch… Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) burn the midnight oil together. During a dress fitting, Hope takes it upon herself to kiss Thomas.
Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: Tuesday, October 18
Thomas recalls his fantasy of Hope coming on to him… Hope and Liam make tracks for Brooke’s abode. During a private confab, Liam assures Brooke that her secret is safe — he didn’t alert Hope to the fact that she nearly took a drink… Thomas and Steffy revel in Ridge and Taylor Hayes’s (Krista Allen) reconciliation… Katie and Carter enjoy one another’s company.
B&B Recaps: Wednesday, October 19
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) lays down some ground rules for Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown): she is to remain put inside the apartment their sharing — absolutely no excursions, masked or otherwise — and should she ever be caught by authorities, she is to leave his name well and truly out of it; Sheila agrees to the terms… Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) descends on Deacon, updates him on Brooke and Ridge’s estrangement, and warns him against making a play for Brooke.

Steffy and Thomas gather Eric Forrester (John McCook), Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), Katie, Carter, and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) to formally announce their parents’ reconciliation; Katie is aghast at the news. At Eric’s instigation, Carter shares the news of Quinn’s abandonment… Hope puts Steffy on notice: she’s not about to let her and Taylor get away with interfering in her mother’s marriage.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: Thursday, October 20
Steffy attempts to placate Hope, but her rival doubles down — she won’t let Steffy and Taylor’s machinations stand… Liam provides Brooke a sympathetic ear… Sheila does her utmost to disabuse Deacon on the notion that he could ever make a real go of things with Brooke.
Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: Friday, October 21
Ridge and Taylor return to Los Angeles; Steffy and Thomas greet them enthusiastically… With Ridge soon to visit, Brooke hedges whether she can convince him to come home to her; Hope offers her mother ample support… It is obvious that Ridge is torn over his decision… Carter and Katie engage in further flirtatious banter and fall into yet another kiss.
