On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Ridge Forrester Jr. carved out his place in the world and made sure that it was in no way associated with anything Forrester related.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition, Hope (Annika Noelle) worried over her attraction to Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), and Count Boucie (special guest star James Carter Walker Jr.) got quite the assist from his famished grandson. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Ridge Forrester Jr. Makes His Feelings Clear
Completely ignoring the clear signals his son was putting out, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) practically pushed a colored pencil into his hand and insisted that he sketch the next product that Forrester Creations can roll out.
RJ (Joshua Hoffman) was momentarily saved by Charlie’s (Dick Christie) ever-annoying presence, but soon Ridge was turning his back on the security guard and zeroing in, forcing his son to do something against his will.

Finally taking up the implement, RJ set about sketching an outrageous caricature of his pops. “I don’t want to design dresses,” RJ made loud and clear. And it’s not that he’s not proud of the work done there — he just wants to do his own thing, build his own future.
And he wants to do it with Ridge’s blessing, so he won’t feel as if he’s a disappointment. Despite the disdain dripping from his voice when he questions RJ’s desire to be an influencer, Ridge swears that his son will never disappoint him.
B&B Recap: The Devil Inside
Across the hall, Hope gushed about Thomas’s design prowess and good-naturedly poked him about his “pretend humility.”
Thomas confided that he’d feared post-self-improvement, he’d be unable to pick up where he left off with his work because he’d so long channeled his frustration and anger into his designs. Luckily, he’s still got the magic touch — and that’s probably all down to Hope, given the way she inspires him…with her love! Not romantic love, mind you. Oh no, perish the thought.
Later, the two excitedly greeted an outfit “hot out of the sewing room,” and Hope took it upon herself to model the creation. With Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) declaration that Thomas is a bad boy and that she [Hope] doesn’t like the bad boys, Hope proceeded to get mighty hot under her pearl collar while Thomas took a hands-on approach to inspect his work.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Out Of Sight
At Il Giardino, Trattoria Rustica, Count Boucie — make that “Count” Boucie — attempted to dazzle — make that con — Deacon (Sean Kanan) with his supposed pedigree — but don’t ask him to name the movie stars, athletes, politicians, and royalty that he toiled for, he’s got to be discreet.
After squaring hungry Olivier away with an out-and-out feast, Deacon arranged a little test for his would-be sommelier. Three glasses were set before him. One filled with a wine from France, another with an Italian vintage, and the third a little something from the nearby-ish Napa Valley.
Thanks to Olivier’s waving food items behind Deacon’s back — a French fry to identify the French wine, pizza for the Italian, and corn on the cob for the Californian — Boucie passed with flying colors. Deacon, however, still hedged his bet when it came to hiring the bombastic job seeker on the spot.
