On today’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Deacon Sharpe good-naturedly teased rivals turned besties Brooke and Taylor

Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

In addition, Hope (Annika Noelle) elicited a promise from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) barged into his sister’s abode and expected her to bend to his whim. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.

Deacon Sharpe Bemoans The Absence Of Catfights

Color Deacon (Sean Kanan) shocked. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Krista Allen), dining in his establishment, together. The sight boggled his mind. Are these two really the same women that spent years, decades really, fighting for the love of the same man? Indeed we are, replied said women. But that’s all in the past.

The two have a new normal, and they both adore it. Take, for instance, the drama surrounding Douglas’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) custody. Oh…hadn’t Deacon heard? Well, turns out when faced with a choice between Thomas and Hope, Douglas chose Steffy! Yep, crazy.

Now, if this had been a few months ago, Hell, a few weeks ago, such an outcome would have had Brooke and Taylor verbally sparring and no doubt slinging…something at one another — a sight that Deacon, admittedly, would pay to see — but not today. Uh uh.

Today, the women have clarity. There’s no longer a need to divide their blended family down ‘Forrester’ and ‘Logan’ lines. A blow for one is a blow for all, and the only thing that they can do is hope for the best. Deacon’s impressed, if not a little disappointed.

B&B Recap: Father’s Daze

Assuming that Douglas is safely ensconced at the cliff house, Thomas readies himself for a visit. Do you think that’s really wise, wondered Eric (John McCook)? Wouldn’t it behoove Thomas to just…give the boy a day or two to settle. Maybe he should at least, you know, call Steffy first and clear it with her?

Nah, decided Thomas. Steffy and Douglas will welcome him with open arms…but not if Hope has anything to say about it!

Before taking her leave, Hope begged Steffy to be extra cautious where Thomas was concerned. It’s not that Hope wants to ban the man from ever seeing his son, it’s just that…well, she’s worried of the influence and control that Thomas might try to exert. Steffy assured her fellow mother that she’d stay vigilant.

Back at the cabin, with little of anything else to do, Hope again rued the loss of her son. Still, at least she could console herself with Steffy’s promise.

Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Thomas Issues A Warning

Much to Steffy’s chagrin, Thomas barreled his way into the cliff house and made a request to see his son. Well, less a request and more a heads-up that he was about to go and see his son.

Steffy stopped Thomas in his tracks and said that it might do everyone concerned a world of good if he just turned around, walked out the door, and gave Douglas some time to adjust. Thomas didn’t appreciate that.

What exactly was Steffy implying, Thomas wondered. Does she intend to keep him from seeing his son? No, not at all, answered Steffy. What she intends to do, is do right by that young man, and Thomas can either like it or lump it.

Thomas decided to do neither and instead launched into an attack on Steffy’s character and failings as a sister. Rushing to his wife’s defense, Finn (Tanner Novlan) let his brother-in-law know in no uncertain terms that his actions would not fly nor would they ever be repeated.

Realizing he may be facing a losing battle, Thomas narrowed his eyes and hissed at Steffy that, “I am not going to allow you, or Finn to keep me away from my son!”
