On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Brooke Logan called time on her date and made a new one…with her new bestie.

Brooke Logan Bids Hollis Adieu
Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) evening with Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) was going swimmingly. The young man regaled her with stories of his various run-ins with wine-wielding Karens, and Brooke, in turn, delighted him with tales of her days as a model for her titular line of lingerie. Also, she briefly crowed about being the inventor of BeLieF.
Whoa. Wow. Brooke is all kinds of awesome, declared Hollis. He’d very much like to get to know even more about her. Also, perhaps, in the biblical sense?

Though flattered, and then briefly persuaded by Hollis’s kisses, Brooke eventually pulled back. She’s just not ready to go that far with a man she was just properly introduced to early yesterday. Hollis was more than understanding. He hopes to see her again, real soon. He’ll even settle for hanging out “as friends.” Brooke’s just that great.
Sometime later, Brooke was joined in her boudoir by a nosy Taylor (Krista Allen). How did everything go? How was Hollis? Was it bad? Taylor bet that it was bad. After all, she’d seen Hollis drive away, and he hadn’t been there long enough to get up to very much.
True, true, offered Brooke. She and Hollis hadn’t gotten too physical, but it had been a very lovely date. That said, she’s just…well, she’s not much interested in being in a man’s company these days. Especially strange men. Perhaps her time as a siren luring men has passed. At the very least, she’s not interested in casual hookups with strange hotties.
Both women agree that Stephanie Forrester is “up there” doing a jig in celebration. Brooke has finally learned a lesson that Stephanie spent decades trying to teach/berate/beat into her. Hallelujah. Giggle giggle.
Another fact that might please the late, great, and mighty matriarch? Taylor’s realized that she’s no longer pinning helplessly for Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Heck, she wouldn’t even be bothered if she ever saw that man again. Or any man, if she was being honest. Here, here, cheered Brooke.!

Say, since you’re not doing anything — or anyone — else tonight, why don’t we have a good old-fashioned slumber party, suggested Taylor. It can even be a dress rehearsal for what life would be should Taylor take Brooke up on her offer of permanent housing.
Yay, said Brooke. Yay, said Taylor. Giggle, giggle said the two of them.
B&B Recap: Parent Trap
Before bothering Brooke, Taylor ran down to the cabin to bother Hope and Liam (Scott Clifton). Liam was…impressed(?)…jealous(?)…flabbergasted(?!) to hear that his mother-in-law was entertaining a gentleman caller at that very moment, and Hope was all kinds of pouty.
It’s not that she has anything against Hollis personally. It’s just…well, given how much younger he is, perhaps he’s…taking advantage? Pish, posh, dismissed Taylor. Let your mother have some fun with a man who isn’t Ridge!
Later, and try as she might — and she did try for all of a minute — Hope just couldn’t be happy for Brooke. She needs to be with somebody that she knows and trusts, not some rando that her dad employs.
Oh, right, Deacon (Sean Kanan)! Now there’s someone Brooke could date. Right? Her ex? The father of her daughter? That guy. He’d be swell. Even Ridge would do in a pinch.
And if neither one of them, then who? Who does Brooke know, trust, and think very highly of? Who’s somebody she’s been spending oodles of time with? Who…who…who…
