On today’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Brooke Logan worked overtime to convince her sister that, though Taylor was indeed in the wrong, she shouldn’t be made to feel guilty.

Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

In addition, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) begged for his old job back, Taylor (Krista Allen) committed her crimes to paper, and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Brooke found themselves on the same page. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.

Brooke Logan Debates Taylor’s Merits

Call her crazy, but Katie (Heather Tom) is still mighty peeved that her sister knew that Taylor shot Bill (Don Diamont) and kept her in the dark. Well, Brooke…and Steffy…and…whoever else is included in the ‘we’ of whom Brooke speaks.

Don’t they realize that Taylor very well could have cost Will his father? Don’t they realize the agony that Taylor put Katie through? Sure, she and Bill weren’t together then but Katie still cared.

Yes, yes, dismisses Brooke, who then pleads for Katie to not make Taylor’s burden of guilt any heavier. She knows that she did wrong, and she’s sorry for it, and that should be the end of it.

Katie isn’t so convinced. And it’s not that she wants to see Taylor go to prison for her crime it’s just…well, it’s complicated. Also, Katie isn’t sold on Brooke and Taylor’s insta-bond. It’s weird. Brooke can see how that might be the case.

B&B Recap: The Only Man For The Job

Hope (Annika Noelle) was neither surprised nor thrilled to see Thomas darkening her door — well, the door to the CEO’s office which is where Hope happened to be — and she wasn’t exactly in the mood for pleasantries or conversation. Unluckily for Hope, Thomas persisted.

Wasn’t Hope worried about the future of the line? Thomas sure was. Yes, Eric (John McCook) is a force to be reckoned with and Zende (Delon de Metz) has got…talent…but they just don’t get what Hope For The Future is all about.

Their designs are elegant, wonder, and definitely up to the high standards expected of a Forrester original, but it’s just not Hope, her vision, what the line is supposed to be. It’s not breaking any conventions. It’s not pushing boundaries. That’s what Thomas does. That’s what Thomas can bring to the table. If only Hope would consider rehiring him.

Or, at the very least, Hope could consider speaking up for Thomas in conversation with Steffy and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Her opinion on the matter of his employment would hold a lot of weight and just might be the key to getting his family on board. Thoughts?

Taylor Hayes Agrees To Keep Mum, Then Thinks Better Of It

With Taylor spiraling, Steffy took it upon herself to talk her mother down. First, there’s no way in hell Taylor is anything like Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Second, under no circumstances is Taylor to turn herself in to the authorities. Taylor is far too precious a commodity to be thrown in prison.

If anything, Taylor’s shooting of Bill provided her with a special kind of insight that she’s been able to use to help countless lost souls. Taylor is an extraordinary woman, and Steffy begs her not to lose sight of that. Taylor seemingly agrees, then begs for solitude.

Off to her beachfront abode Taylor flew, and there she composed herself and a letter she intended to hand to Deputy Chief Baker (Dan Martin). “It’s time for the truth to come out,” began the missive, which Taylor punctuated with, “I’m the person who shot Bill Spencer.”

B&B Recap: Strange Bedfellows

There isn’t much that Steffy and Brooke agree on, but Taylor avoiding having to pay for her crimes is one thing that they can. Brooke swears to her former stepdaughter that they’ll see to it that Taylor doesn’t do anything that she regrets. Of, if only they knew.
