B&B recap for Tuesday, November 8, 2022, features Hope Logan Spencer doing the right thing and drawing a clear line in the sand with Thomas Forrester.

B&B Recap Highlights

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) worried himself nearly sick as Hope (Annika Noelle) stood her ground. Meanwhile, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) continued to keep Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) in the dark. And, the best night of Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) professional life became a disappointment in his private life.

Bold and the Beautiful: I Like You, But Not Like That

Liam spent the evening at home with Beth Spencer (who stayed off-screen, of course), worrying about his wife. Why isn’t she home yet? He tried to call her again, but it went straight to voicemail. After a few tries, he called Wyatt Spencer (Darin brooks) to book it back to his house so he could go check on his wife.

Over at the mansion, Hope did the right thing and turned Thomas down. She is a married woman and loves her husband, that’s it, that’s all, and that’s the way it’s going to stay. Thomas was disappointed and reiterated she is the only woman for him. He thought this was their time. Hope made it clear they were co-workers, co-parents, and FRIENDS. Nothing more (sure).

Thomas heard it loud and clear and relented. He apologized, said he was just caught up in the excitement, and asked if they could just forget the whole thing. The pair talked it through, agreed they would stay FRIENDS, and not breathe a word of this to anyone — especially not Brooke or Liam.

Hope went home to Liam and acted as if nothing happened. Liam said sorry for not staying at the show and hugged her. Back at the mansion, Thomas scolded himself for trying to make a move. It’s too soon. It’s too fast.

B&B Recap: Ridge Didn’t Budge

Over at the office, Ridge was burning the midnight oil reading the Hope for the Future reviews when Brooke showed up. They exchanged good vibes about Hope’s line, and they discussed the success. Ridge admitted the after-party wasn’t the same without her there.

Brooke then asked Ridge what really happened between them. Why did he cut ties? She just couldn’t fathom how he picked up one day and left her high and dry and moved in with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), especially since he clearly still loves her. Ridge told “Logan” (yes, he even used her nickname while turning her down because why not?) he still does love her, but what’s done is done.

Ridge outright told her he was with Taylor now. He didn’t mean to hurt her, but what’s done is done. Ridge did not offer her any reasons why or discuss the big bad thing he thinks she’s done. He simply said it wasn’t worth talking about and left it at that. Brooke vowed to get to the bottom of things and get their life back on track.
