B&B recap for Wednesday, November 23, 2022, features the Logan sisters getting a very welcome visitor when their father stopped by. Stephen Logan was just who Brooke Logan needed to get through this very awful day.

B&B Recap Highlights

Stephan Logan (Patrick Duffy) and his gal pal Lucy (Linda Purl) came home to a bit of chaos thanks to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) breaking Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) heart. As for Ridge, he awaited his blushing bride, who was having a huge crisis thanks to her good-for-nothing son and brave daughter. Let’s take a deeper look into what went on.

Bold and the Beautiful: Stephen Logan Is Home!

Over at the Logan house, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) were comforting Brooke and were surprised by a knock at the door. It was all good news — on the other side was their father! Brooke was thrilled to see him and Lucy. The trio was happy to not only see Lucy again but meet her for the first time (yep…just a tiny bit confusing, right?!).

Stephen was distressed to learn he came on a bad day for Brooke. His daughter was suffering deeply, knowing Ridge was across town marrying Dr. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). He was even more distraught to hear this could all be because of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). That man turned out to be bad news for the family, Stephen surmised. Poor Lucy sat looking very empathetic and awestruck, hearing all the drama.

Stephen comforted Brooke as he listened to the rest of her woes. He and Lucy were sorry to show up on such a terrible day, but Brooke was glad they did. She could use all the support she can get. Besides, why not make Stephen’s homecoming all about her? It’s what she does best.

B&B Recap: The Wedding MUST Go On

Taylor was not having any of Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) negativity. Not today, the day of her big wedding. Thomas agreed and tried to diffuse the situation, but Steffy was relentless. Prepare yourself, mom. You’re not going to like this. Then, Steffy dropped the bomb. Brooke didn’t call Child Protective Services, Thomas did. Taylor didn’t really believe it until Steffy played the recordings.

Poor Taylor was devastated. How could Thomas do this?! Steffy insisted Ridge know before he and Taylor could take their vows. Yes, she wanted her mom with her dad, but she knows the consequences of starting a marriage off on a lie — she didn’t want that for her mother.

Thomas tried to reason with his mother and sister. He did all this to help. That fake call is the reason that nasty woman is out of their lives, and their family can be whole again. Why mess with it? He tried to talk his mother into going downstairs and staking her claim to his dad. Steffy, however, told Taylor outright she needed to tell Ridge the whole truth.

Downstairs, Ridge kept up his brave face as Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) each questioned whether or not this was a good idea. Both times he said it was. The crowd (and by crowd, we mean Finn and Li Finnegan) wondered about Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Today is a big day for the little boy but was he okay? Finn offered to check on him, but Ridge thought the kiddo was overwhelmed.

Eventually, the guests took their spots. Li (Naomi Matsuda) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) were treated to spots on the big comfy couch with Kelly Forrester while Eric and Douglas took the chairs. Poor Douglas looked very nervous about the whole ordeal.

In the end, Taylor told her children to go away to give her a moment to think as the wedding music began. She then made the rather wild decision to grab her bouquet, walk down the stairs, down the aisle, and take her place at the fireplace altar. Steffy gave her a few looks, Douglas gave Steffy a few looks, and Taylor looked so emotional Ridge asked if she was okay.
