B&B recap for Friday, November 18, 2022, features a wedding day full of doubt, opinions, and a big secret Thomas Forrester is desperate to keep in the family.

B&B Recap Highlights

Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) worked overtime to cover his tracks as Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) struggled with the secret. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) has a momentary moment of clarity before another lapse in judgment. Meanwhile, Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) made a play for Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) heart that was overheard by Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Bold and the Beautiful: Wedding Favors

At the office, Carter was helping Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) who was upset he didn’t have the cufflinks Taylor bought him once upon a time. Carter offered to go over and get them. Probably not a good idea for his ex-bride to see the soon-to-be husband before the wedding. Carter promised to go through the back as to not hurt Brooke any further.

Once alone, Ridge took a moment to look over a pic of him and Brooke before heading out to the mansion. He seemed ready for a wedding.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was overjoyed to help her mother get ready for the wedding. Steffy was in awe over the dress and flittered around her mom. By the time they got to doing hair, Steffy realized something was wrong. Taylor admitted she was upset about the Child Protective Services call. Would she have accepted Ridge back into her life had she known? Oh well, that’s done, and she’s happy regardless.

Across the hall, Thomas tried to get Douglas ready, but the poor kiddo was wracked with guilt and very upset about the whole CPS call. Douglas hid his phone under the pillow and confronted his dad. Douglas had some big feelings about his father breaking up Grandma Brooke and Grandpa Ridge.

Thomas gave up and went downstairs just in time to run into Ridge. Thomas thanked his father for always being there for him. He then talked about how the family has faith in Ridge and Taylor truly being happy. Just look at how hard “fate” worked to bring them together again.

Thomas doubled down and reminded him about all the awful things Brooke did — including the call. He then asked his dad to make sure Brooke never knew they knew. Ridge registered there was a red flag, but before he could even process what Thomas was saying, Douglas sulked down the stairs.

Poor, sweet Douglas was so upset he couldn’t even bring himself to muster up a smile when Ridge joked around. However, he did right by his dad and kept his mouth shut, and soon retreated upstairs. Ridge seemed to forget what Thomas said and hugged his son and vowed to make Taylor happy.

B&B Recap: Let Me Love You

Later, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) took over the office for a chat. Katie asked if he was attending the wedding. Eric said he was, and Katie scoffed at him a little bit. Katie pointed out how they all know Brooke is the love of the Ridge’s life. How can he stand there and watch it happen? Eric agreed with everything Katie said, but Ridge is his son, and he’s going to support him (lest we forget how Eric felt when no one showed up for his and Quinn Fuller’s nuptials).

As for Brooke, she got a visit from Dollar Bill Spencer. He was there to hold her through her pain and give her a dose of reality. No sense holding your breath, he said. Ridge is going to get married, and nothing is going to stop the wedding. There is a silver lining, though. He’s there, and he’s not going anywhere.

Bill made a big play for Brooke’s heart. Enough is enough when it comes to the dressmaker. Just look at how he is! Ridge dumped her for no reason, and days later is already getting married again. Little did they know, Carter was outside the back door listening to every single thing Bill was saying.
