Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) faced tough questions and pledged his loyalty to his first family. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) managed to keep his son quiet. Meanwhile, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) leaned on her sisters in her time of need. Let’s take a deeper look into what went down.
Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge Is A Devoted Man
Thomas Forrester kept a close eye on Douglas Forrester (Henry Jospeh Samiri) as Ridge told everyone “the truth.” Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) seemed the most surprised. How could Brooke come after their son who is “such a good influence” on Douglas? Eric was also shaken. This was definitely not like Brooke. Ride explained it was all way too true. He heard her voice with his own ears. Eric was dumbfounded.

Thomas took Douglas upstairs to hide him before he could tell the truth spare his innocent little ears. He then asked everyone to keep this juicy tidbit to themselves. No point confronting Brooke. What good would it do? Why rock the boat even more — or worse, give her the satisfaction?
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) finally stepped up to address the elephant in the room. Was this the reason Ridge was marrying Taylor? Ridge admitted that, yes, Brooke failed his test, but no, that’s not why he was there. He said he truly does love Taylor and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Thomas chimed in that the call was just the icing on the cake and finally gave Ridge a reason to break free.

Taylor was touched. She believed him and promised to continue believing him — no matter what. Taylor vowed to never let Ridge down. Then, it was back to wedding plans. Thomas joked he was a designer and didn’t get any input on the dress. Ridge stared off into the distance, thinking about Brooke.
B&B Recap: Brooke Was A Broken Woman
Over at Logan estate, the Logan sisters whined and cried with Brooke. She was grateful for their support, especially with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) out of town. How can Ridge WANT to marry Taylor? It just doesn’t feel right. Donna and Katie agreed to stay far away from the wedding. There was no reason for any of them to be there (as if any of them were invited).
Katie asked Brooke what Ridge meant that Thomas was involved in all this. Sure, Brooke despises her ex’s son but that’s no reason to leave a marriage. Brooke went on and on about Thomas being a con artist. Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) agreed. He has such weird vibes. He’s way, way off.
Brooke went back to crying as her sisters said how sorry they were for her predicament. They implored her to not give up, especially since they were sure Ridge and Taylor’s marriage didn’t stand a chance. Later, once alone, Brooke cried all over a picture of her and Ridge while pining away for him.
