B&B recap for November 16, 2022, features Ridge Forrester finally telling his family why he left Brooke Logan as a very upset Douglas Forrester watched on in silence.
B&B Recap Highlights
It was the eve of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes’s (Krista Allen) wedding, and it was not all sunshine and roses. Ridge faced Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) questions, Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) tears, and his family’s shock. Brooke gave up the fight and mourned with her sisters. And, Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) kept Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) secret, but it sure didn’t feel good.
Bold and the Beautiful: Love And Loss
Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) was not pleased about the Tridge wedding being set up at the mansion, but what could she do about it? She let Eric Forrester (John McCook) host his family for a pre-wedding night and got out of their way. She headed off to see her sister just as Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Finn (Tanner Novlan) showed up. Taylor thanked Eric for welcoming her back into the family fold. He was as gracious as could be.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Thomas tried to get through to his son. Yes, he did a very bad thing, but Thomas explained it was very good reasons. Just look how happy Grandpa is with Grandma Taylor. Douglas did not like this, though. He was always taught to tell the truth, and now he had to lie.
Over at the office, Carter and Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) teased Ridge about moving so fast. Isn’t he always known for taking his time, ha! Ridge explained he knows what he wants, so why wait? Carter and Justin outright asked if he was actually ready to wed again.

B&B Recap: A Very Dishonest Truth
The conversation came to a halt when Brooke showed up. She also asked if he was true. Is this really happening? Are you going to marry Taylor tomorrow? Ridge didn’t want to talk about it and tried to leave. He wished Brooke all the happiness in the world.
Carter went to the design room where Katie Logan (Heather Tom) vented about her sister’s marriage falling apart. How can Ridge be so cold? What is he doing?! Katie found Brooke in the main office, where she and Donna held Brooke and tried to talk things through. Poor Brooke just had enough.
Ridge got to the house just as Douglas and Thomas came downstairs. Douglas sulked as Thomas gave a heartfelt speech. He was so happy his parents were back together and looking towards a bright future. The others drank to that. Well, except Eric. He wondered how this all happened. How it REALLY happened.
Ridge finally broke and told everyone the “truth” (well, what he thinks is the truth). He left Brooke because she called Child Protective Services. Eric was floored. How did he know? Well, because Ridge and Thomas heard her voice! Little Douglas watched this all go down while giving his daddy the stink-eye.
