The B&B recap for Thursday, December 8, 2022, features a child trying to parent their petulant parent and getting absolutely nowhere.
B&B Recap Highlights
In this episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) tries to convince Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) that *gasp* he’s not the center of the universe. Elsewhere, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) confuse a place of business for a bedroom and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) plays dumb for John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) benefit and to save his own cowardly hide. Now, let’s take a deeper look into what went on.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Get Your Head On Straight!
Like Katie before him, Liam was put out to see that Bill had taken to wearing his sword necklace again, something that everybody in the magnate’s general vicinity knows is a harbinger of dark times ahead.
To hear Bill tell it, he’s been driven back into his old, bad ways. How dare Katie and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) both turn him down! Don’t they know what he’s done for them? How he’s sacrificed? How he yearns for them? Did neither one of them get the message that at least one of them has to be his ever-loving spouse of the minute?
How is it that they’ve both turned their backs on him for men like Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Carter?! Bill is twice as good as they’ll ever think about being. Why is it that everyone he loves stabs him the back? Even that jerk Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) whom Bill told to kick rocks, actually went and kicked rocks. What the Hell was that about?
You done yet? a visibly PO’d Liam practically shouted before giving his dad some cold hard truths. “This is ego. This is your ego talking. And when your ego’s in charge, you get into trouble.” Bill was not thankful for the insight.
B&B Recap: Promises To Keep
Katie’s day was well and truly made when she caught Carter in a state of undress in the CEO office — why, you might ask, which is a damn good question — and it only got better from there when Carter made it crystal clear that he was very much interested in her, in pursuing a relationship with her, and that he’d make her happiness his number one priority.
Bonus: Carter is not the least bit interested in Brooke. Sure, she’s a friend — well, she’s his best friend’s former missus — and he admires her, but unlike the majority of men who come into her orbit, he’s not smitten. The only Logan that he has eyes for is Katie. And he sealed that truth with a kiss. A hot, passionate kiss. A hot, passionate kiss that Katie more than reciprocated.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Inside Infomation
It’s official: Finn and Steffy are thoroughly convinced that Sheila is alive and well. Well, they’re pretty convinced….let’s just say that Finn’s convinced, and Steffy has reason to agree.
But what does Deacon think? Does he think that it’s possible, conceivable, that Sheila would amputate her own toe to lead the LAPD down the garden path? Oh, and here’s the toe for Deacon’s perusal. Eww, says Deacon. Also, he has no knowledge of Sheila’s machinations or her comings and goings — he swears.
Steffy and Finn thank Deacon for his time and take their leave. Deacon sits alone, pondering his inaction. Will housing Sheila come back to bite him? Continue tuning in to find out.
