The B&B recap for Thursday, December 29, 2022, sees squabbling siblings searching for their persnickety pop and pondering quite the hypothesis.

In this episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) go looking for Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), put two and two together, and come up with that he must have been taken by the nutty nurse Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Elsewhere, Bill and Sheila played hardball with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and revealed that they’re officially an item. Now, let’s take a deeper look into what went on.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Where On Earth Is Bill Spencer
Liam knows that it’s Bill and Bill alone who’s pushed every single person who ever cared about him away, and so does Wyatt…and so does the audience who watches this show day in and day out. Still, the boys love their father enough to go and check on his welfare and to freak out when he’s nowhere in sight.

A cursory look around the living room produces an earring — the boys presume it’s a lady’s, which is presumptuous as all get out, but whatever — and a peek under the sofa results in Liam finding a blonde wig…a blonde wig that looks awfully familiar.
But where has Liam seen it before? Why, in a photograph that Steffy sent him showing Sheila in her latest disguise, that’s where! Could this mean that, horror of horrors, Bill is now Sheila’s prisoner?!

B&B Recap: The Monster Finds A Mate
Over at the cliff house, Bill made it crystal clear that he wasn’t in any way, shape, form, or fashion a prisoner. In point of fact, he and the she-Devil have become really rather close the past two days or so, and it occurred to Bill during that time that he might have found his soulmate.
After all, Sheila gets him. She really, really gets him. And the woman’s got a skin thick as a rhino, so there’s no chance of Bill hurting her feelings or making her feel less than. They’re perfect together — on paper and in practice. And Bill doesn’t intend to let his last shot at happiness dissipate just because Steffy and Finn want to see Sheila prosecuted for trying to kill them. The woman has said, multiple times, that she’s sorry. It needs to be left at that.
And should Finn and Steffy insist on Sheila’s arrest, then Bill will have no choice but to name Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) as his shooter. That’s just the way it’s going to be, Bill warns. Either Sheila gets to walk, or Taylor will join her in the pokey. What do you say, Finn and Steffy?
