The Bold and the Beautiful recap for April 27-May 1, 2020, features specially-selected episodes filmed on location in Monte Carlo full of shock and awe and the most important ingredient of all – romance.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
According to Eric Forrester (John McCook), the one thing that life does reliably well is surprising you. Therefore, he advises that you should always expect the unexpected. And this is a man who knows from surprises and unexpectedness.
After all, when his red-hot love affair with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) fizzled, he was sure that he’d never find love again. And yet, there he was hitting the sheets with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), another in a long, long line of women who had run afoul of the Forrester family but somehow managed to capture its patriarch’s heart.
Loving Quinn
In order to keep the peace, Eric had called a halt to their secret assignations – and regretted the decision ever since. But then, as if by magic, there she was. Looking radiant in an oversized sun hat and sporting glasses with frames as thick as coke bottles.
She had come all the way to Monte Carlo to be with him…and she had suffered through a multi-hour flight with two of the WORST seatmates imaginable so he had better let her stay. She’d hate to have to push him off a cliff!
Amour
But Eric wasn’t the only character life was throwing a romantic curveball. Imagine Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) surprise when she learned that Bill (Don Diamont) had left Katie (Heather Tom) – seemingly for good – and he was prepared to begin life anew with her.
BB Musings
Eric: “Is there a man, anywhere in the world who hasn’t wanted a woman who’s absolutely forbidden to him for one reason or another?” That’s a literal description of just about every storyline ever told on this soap. Ridge/Brooke, Ridge/Taylor, Eric/Brooke, Eric/Sheila, Bill/Brooke etc.
How angry do you think the 2016 production team was that so much of their location shooting coincided with dreary, overcast weather? Heck, it even RAINED during half of the beach scenes featuring Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks).
Alright, admit it. You would TOTALLY buy a “My Life Was Fuller, Until I Met Quinn Fuller” T-shirt, right? The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
