Viewers invested in this dynamic and were touched when Zende stood by Nicole as she worked her way through giving up her daughter, Lizzie, to Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Mosley).
Another reason Nicole is on viewers’ minds is that it’s not clear what caused the couple to split. Did one of them cheat? Was there a misunderstanding? Was Zende squeezing the toothpaste from the middle? Jokes aside, viewers may need closure on “Nende” before they can move on to accepting a new love interest for Zende.
