The Bold and the Beautiful recently highlighted Steffy Forrester Finnegan in a special episode that also commemorated the show’s 9,000th episode. The episode was a tribute to both the legacy character and her portrayer, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood.
Steffy Forrester Finnigan: Picture Perfect Life
The Steffy-centric episode reminded viewers that the Forrester Creations executive has it all — doting parents in Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Krista Allen), for starters. She also has a great relationship with her ex-husband Liam (Scott Clifton), a loving, handsome husband in Finn (Tanner Novlan), and two great kids in Kelly and Hayes. Is Steffy’s life too perfect? After all, the essence of soaps is conflict. Soap Hub asked B&B viewers if Steffy’s life should be a little messier.
Happy B&B Family
A small percentage of you, about 17%, say that yes, Steffy’s life is just terrific and you wouldn’t have it any other way. Over the last few years, she’s been shot, recovered from opioid addiction, and dealt with the mother-in-law from hell (Hi, Sheila!). You’re perfectly fine with Steffy having it easy these days.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan: The Good Life
Many of you, about 40%, are happy that Steffy is happy. You’re aware that this might mean a big curve ball is headed her way. Maybe Sheila will get out of jail on a technicality? Maybe Finn will get seduced by an obsessed nurse at the hospital? (Just like Sheila did with Dr. Scott Grainger!) However, for now, you’re glad she’s relatively conflict-free. It’s rare to not have any problems in soaps. Let Steffy enjoy this time. It won’t last long.

Get Ready to Rumble
The rest of you, about 43%, don’t think that Steffy’s life is all that perfect. Her brother Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and her ex-rival Hope (Annika Noelle) working together is a human resources timebomb waiting to explode! Speaking of volatile situations, you expect Steffy’s life to take a turn any day now. It’s moot that she currently may have a happy life. Soon enough, it’ll be unhappy, which on soaps is a good thing!
