Katherine Kelly Lang and Ashley Jones Honor National Women’s Day

On The Bold and the Beautiful, the characters of Brooke and Bridget are as close as a mother and daughter can be. Off-screen, their portrayers, Katherine Kelly Lang and Ashley Jones, recently took to social media to celebrate National Women’s Day.

“The best title I’ll ever have is mommy,” Jones posted on Instagram along with a photo of her son, Hayden. “Being a woman has meant different things to me at different times in my life. Today it’s about trying to be the best mother to this little man. Raising him to be kind and respectful toward women. Raising him to know the Lord.

“To all the multitasking, hard-working mamas (and my fellow single moms!!), Happy International Women’s Day,” Jones adds. “Say hello in the comments to each other today!! A word of encouragement goes a very long way. ❤️ You, too, men! 🙌🏼 Love y’all. Xx.”

“Happy International Women’s Day to all of you beautiful women around the world!” Lang posted on Instagram. “All of your attributes are in the palm of your hand. Use them wisely and they become your strength. Use them in the wrong way and they will become your enemy. Stay true to yourself and remember how strong and perfect you are.

“Do not be swayed by others,” Lang added. “Your true self knows the path. Be strong and resilient and most of all spread joy and love and laughter because that is what heals the hearts of many.
