Soaps are often about two people in a room debating back and forth an issue each of them sees from a different side. Case in point: The Bold and the Beautiful’s Brooke Logan Forrester recently pointed out to Ridge Forrester that the return of his ex-wife Taylor Hayes is the same as Deacon Sharpe being back in Brooke’s life. Ridge disagreed.
The Battle of The Bold and the Beautiful Exes
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) feels she has a point in drawing a comparison between Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Taylor (Krista Allen). Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) believes the two aren’t comparable given their backgrounds. After all, Taylor is a saint while Deacon is a sinner. Do you agree with Brooke or Ridge? More than half of you, around 52%, say that you can see this from both angles. Sure, Taylor hasn’t done time in jail like Deacon has, but what Deacon and Taylor have in common is that each of them played an important part in the lives of, respectively, Brooke and Ridge. Brooke feels uneasy around Taylor and Ridge is no fan of Deacon’s. Ridge may not see it as the same but it’s close enough.

Bold and the Beautiful: Unbreak My Heart
Many of you, 28%, say that there’s no question as to why Brooke feels the way she does. She’s totally justified in being uneasy about Taylor being back in town. Ultimately, Brooke makes no apologies for who she is deep down but part of her has to know that Taylor refrains from following her heart quite the way that Brooke does. Even though Ridge is firm in his anti-Deacon stance, it’s clear why he has it.

The rest of you, about 20%, say that Brooke doesn’t have a leg to stand on; Deacon broke Bridget’s heart after seducing her while her own family members were forced to listen to the romp via speakerphone. Deacon’s let Hope down so many times. Taylor hasn’t always been there for her kids but that’s hardly been her fault. She was kidnapped from the hospital by Prince Omar (Kabir Bedi) and kept away from her family for years. Taylor’s an angel. Deacon’s slate isn’t so clean.
