The Bold and the Beautiful C&G News

Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of our Lives fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of January 13, 2020

Katrina Bowden is back as Flo Fulton on Monday, January 13. The character had been MIA for months, while the actress was on location in Australia filming a movie.

It looks like viewers might be seeing a bit less of Dollar Bill’s (Don Diamont) right-hand man — and best friend. Aaron D. Spears, who portrays Justin Barber, the resident attorney at Spencer Publications, reports that he’s been taken off contract from the show. And, moving forward, the actor will be considered a recurring player.

Spears, who’s been a regular part of the CBS soap since 2009, does, however, pop up this week. He airs on Thursday, January 16.

Finnegan George is back, after a bit of a break as Will Spencer, Bill and Katie’s (Heather Tom) son. He appears on Thursday, January 16.

The Bold and the Beautiful History

BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
