A daytime veteran, who’s held down prominent roles on two other soaps, is set to tackle a brand new character on The Bold and the Beautiful. Here’s the soap’s casting news for the week of August 24-28.

Kelly Sullivan makes her debut as Darcy Dylan on Thursday, August 27. The character is Dylan’s (Sydney Bullock) mother. As viewers know, Dylan, whose full name is Melissa Dylan, goes by her surname. Sullivan previously played Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri onGeneral Hospital (2011-2014) and followed that up with the role of Sage Warner on The Young and the Restless (2014- 2016). Sullivan’s stint on Y&R earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2017.
Sincere Cato is back on the scene as Alex, the supervisor and bartender at the Bikini Bar. He airs on Monday, August 24.
