Everything Bold Is New Again
After AMC went off the air, B&B offered Young his old part and he rejoined the show. His most significant storyline since coming back to the half-hour sudser has been Rick’s love affair with Maya, a transgender woman.
Initially, Rick was shocked to learn that Maya had been born a male, but he realized he was in love with her and wanted her in his life.
Just as Rick has become a parent on B&B to a daughter (carried by Nicole, Maya’s sister), so has his portrayer. Young and his wife, Christen Steward Young, have three kids: Luke Wayne, Molly Lynn, and Grace Elizabeth.
