The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, July 18 features a day of doubt as everyone prepared for Thomas and Hope’s wedding. Even the bride took some time to reflect as she procrastinated getting ready.
Reluctant Guests
The guests began to arrive at the Logan estate and prepared for the big day. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton) arrived with the girls. Pam busied herself in the kitchen, Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Eric (John McCook) arrived prepared to show their support. Katie (Heather Tom) and Donna (Jennifer Gareis) reluctantly showed up, as well.
Two Big Warnings
Upstairs, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) noted the difference between this wedding and Hope’s (Annika Noelle) last union. She couldn’t’ wait to get downstairs to Liam and this time, Hope can barely bring herself to get ready.
This should tell her she is not ready for this. Loving on Douglas and being Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) wife are not the same things.
When Steffy came up to check on Hope she said many of the same things. She loves her brother but does Hope?

It wouldn’t be fair to anyone (especially Douglas) is Hope marries Thomas without being fully committed. There was still time to back out and Steffy promised to stand with her no matter what she decided to do next.
Hope swore she was ready and gushed about how far she and Steffy have come. Look at them! A year ago they were fighting over a man and now Steffy is her maid of honor. My, how times changed.
Rising Tensions
Downstairs, Liam made a point to bring up the delay. If Hope really wanted to be married she’d be rushing down those stairs. Thomas had a mild temper tantrum about being mocked and put all the guests in their place.
They are there for him and Hope and if they can’t be fully supportive they can leave. This is their big day and they expect respect. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
