The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, May 20 features an emotional day for Hope. First, she dealt with two women gossiping about her daughter and then she faced a shocking twist by Thomas.
Say What Now?!
Hope (Annika Noelle) tore into Flo (Katrina Bowden) and Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and demanded they spill all. They had to admit they were talking about her daughter but their confession did not go further than that. They hid the truth and lied saying they were just sorry for her loss.
She believed them and let them off the hook. However, they realized just how close they came to getting caught. It is time they stop bringing this up in public. (Really?)
Brotherly Love
Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton) spent his afternoon with Wyatt (Darin Brooks) worrying about his future. He said he’s willing to do whatever it takes to save his marriage but how long can he really hold on? Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) was right there waiting in the wings and pursuing Hope at every turn.
The Ultimate Manipulation!
Over at the Logan estate, Thomas was kicking his most devious plan ever into gear. He took old letters from Caroline, copied her handwriting, and created a note of his own. The letter was about “her” wishes if she should pass about who should care for her little boy. He then put the letter in the box and pretended to mail it to himself.

Thomas jumped into action the moment Hope got home. He acted lonely and lost and asked her to be with him when he opened the box. Of course, she agreed. She was behind him when he pretended to find the note and then sat and listened as he read it aloud.
Hope’s heart broke into a million pieces when she heard “Caroline’s” last wish that her son had a family with a woman who chooses to love him no matter what. She took it all in and realized this note was about her.
