The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, August 2 features bomb after bomb dropping in LA. Flo told Liam the basics, Douglas told his dad that he’s not very nice, and Hope found out about her baby girl.

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) tried to wrap her head around her nephew’s claims and even Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was confused when he heard the news. They sat Douglas down and went over his story but it became clear he was sticking to it.
Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) took Steffy’s phone in the room and called his dad. He point-blank called Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) mean, said Aunt Steffy is much nicer, and then and informed him he told everyone the truth. Steffy and Liam know baby Beth is alive.
Thomas was already struggling to keep Hope (Annika Noelle) in check and this news pushed him over the edge. He called for the Forrester jet and told Hope to pack her bags and claimed they were going away. What he was really doing was trying to flee.

The beach house became the scene of a horror story when Flo (Katrina Bowden) told Liam (Scott Clifton) a quick version of the kidnapping tale.
Reese was in debt, saw an opportunity, and took his baby. Beth was alive the whole time. He called Flo in to play birth mom as he put her up for adoption. Taylor paid the fee and Steffy got the baby.
