Baby Douglas may be the apple of his grandpa’s eye, but it’s Daddy who deserves the glory–and “Bold and the Beautiful” fans are appalled that Ridge would want it any other way. Trying to send Thomas across the world was a big mistake and now he’s going to pay!
Soap Hub asked if you’re still siding with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) in this whole baby saga. After all, he is married to Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and the main day to day male influence in the baby’s life. Should he have the most say in how Dougie is raised, considering he’s the one who’s playing daddy?
Out of nearly 2,000 votes, 70% of you want Ridge to back off! Douglas isn’t his baby and he has no right to tell Thomas (Pierson Fode) what to do! You’re glad Thomas put him in his place and stuck up for himself.

A much smaller 25% think Thomas has it wrong. Being a biological father doesn’t make a man a dad, and Thomas needs to leave Ridge and Caroline alone. Ridge can give Dougie the best of everything and is obviously in love with the child. Ridge knows how to be a parent and he’s the best chance Douglas has at growing up the right way.
The final 5% want to see Caroline cut ties with both men and raise the baby alone. The Forrester family tension isn’t good for anyone, especially a child. She needs to pack up and escape with Douglas before the situation becomes an all out father-son war.
