Like most everyone else, Rena Sofer has a “go-to” activity when the world becomes challenging. It’s not exercising but it does involve getting physical. The Bold and the Beautiful star, who plays Quinn Fuller Forrester, takes on another creative endeavor when she needs to get centered.
Rena Sofer Gets Her Hands Dirty
“When life gets to be too much I lose myself in clay,” Sofer an actress and an artist shares on Instagram. “I love the fluidity of it and also the structure. When I can make something I’m proud of out of something from the earth I feel at peace.
“Thank the universe for art,” Sofer continues. “For the healing of art. I know most believe what we actors do is art but I don’t think that has ever resonated with me. I don’t know why. It wasn’t until I was almost 50 that I discovered the art that inspired me and made me feel whole. I guess that’s my next journey. To figure out the why to that question. On-screen, Sofer’s character Quinn has her husband Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) support in sleeping with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Off-screen, Sofer has McCook’s support and admiration. “To take so much material and shape it so…you ARE an artist, now and forever…” Sofer replied to her on-screen mate, “thank you love!”
Quinn Fuller Forrester Wants To Win
Sofer, a Daytime Emmy winner for her role as Lois Cerullo Ashton on General Hospital, wracked up extensive credits in the primetime world on such series as 24, Just Shoot Me!, and NCIS before returning to daytime drama as Quinn Fuller on B&B in 2013. After being established as Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) mother and Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) ex-lover, Quinn set her sights on Eric. She was tempted by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) but later realized Eric was the man for her.
Now, Quinn is involved in a very complicated storyline as she’s drawn to Carter and, in a shocking twist, has Eric’s permission to continue her affair with Carter.
