The Bold and the Beautiful’s Douglas Forrester is well-adjusted despite having a non-traditional life. Off-screen, Henry Joseph Samiri, Douglas’s portrayer, gets to do something very traditional. He’s celebrating quite a milestone.
Henry Joseph Samiri Celebrates His Birthday
That’s because the actor was born on July 25, 2013, in Tarzana, California, which means the adorable thespian is turning 11 years old today!
The young B&B actor joined the soap in 2019. His onscreen father, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), brought his son home following the untimely death of his mother, Caroline Spencer Forrester (Linsey Godfrey). Thomas landed back in Los Angeles and immediately set his sights on a replacement for Caroline — Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
Thomas not only wanted Hope as a mate, but he wanted her to act as a surrogate mother to Douglas. After Thomas discovered that Hope’s baby Beth was alive — and had been adopted by his sister Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) — he opted to stay silent, hoping to secure a future with Hope.
Douglas learned that truth and refused to be deterred from sharing the news despite his father’s attempts at coercing his son into remaining silent. At first, Douglas wasn’t believed, but when Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) held little Phoebe, he realized that the child, in fact, was Beth.
Big Boy Storylines
Douglas was forced to step up again at his father’s wedding to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). Thomas hoped Hope would interrupt the ceremony, given her desire to raise Douglas. Thomas got his wish — sort of. Hope, in a wedding dress, holding the hand of a tuxedo-clad Douglas, did stop the wedding, but then, Hope proceeded to expose Thomas’s lies and machinations.
Douglas went to live with Hope, Liam, and baby Beth, as Hope and Thomas shared custody. The young boy unofficially officiated a symbolic wedding ceremony between Hope and Liam in the couple’s home. Douglas has the best of both worlds as he continues to see his dad.
Henry Joseph Samiri stays busy while away from B&B. In fact, he appeared in a guest spot on the Fox drama Rescue 911: Lone Star, and he was Mason in the TV series Hacks. In 2023, he was a series regular on The Watchful Eye.
Soap Hub congratulates Samiri on his birthday and wishes him many happy returns.
