B&B spoilers for Tuesday, August 23, 2022, focus on Douglas Forrester’s uncertain future. He’s quite happy living at the cottage with his mom and Liam Spencer, but Daddy wants him back, and Thomas Forrester isn’t backing down.
B&B Spoilers Highlights
Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) stops by the cottage once again to talk to Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle). She keeps trying to skirt the custody issue, and he’s had enough. It’s time to talk about it and start establishing Douglas’s (Django Ferri) new reality.
Bold and Beautiful: What’s Really Best?
Will there be raised voices? Maybe. Will there be tears? Most likely. Will there be a final decision? Probably not. The one thing no one wants is a knockdown, dragged-out custody battle, but if these parents can’t reach a decision, that’s surely the way things will go.

Will today finally be the day the parents ask the child what HE wants? Douglas may have a few ideas of what he wants and where he wants to be — and how often. Yes, he loves his little home with his sister, but he does miss his dad…a lot.

B&B Spoilers: The Moms Weigh In
Thomas and Hope aren’t the only ones having it out over Douglas, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) are too. The women had it out over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), so why not throw the trouble with their kids in there too? Makes sense, right?
Brooke has a lot to say about how much her daughter stepped up for little Douglas. Taylor points out how much her son has healed and grown. Sure, Hope was a good solution for a long hot minute, but this is Thomas’s son, and he IS Douglas’s only surviving parent — well, aside from those pesky adoption papers saying otherwise.
